BASIC DETAILS

Should begin your resume with name and permanent address with area code (update timely if any changes). Mention your phone number with area code (if have alternate / whatsapp number should provide), Email ID (if feel necessary should add LinkedIn, Skype profile).

OBJECTIVE

is the spotlight of your resume - specifically, the job you are looking for. Your goals should be simple, but directly related to your qualifications and accomplishments.

EDUCATION

You should mention your most recent educational experience first though it’s going. Assure to mention your degree, institution attended, graduation date. Also include major course work or projects.

WORK EXPERINCE

Always include title of your position with your organization name (suggest to mention website as well), location (city). Make a note to express each organization experience from start to till day with your responsibility by using strong action words. And yes use reverse-chronological order (most recent job to oldest experience).

ACHIEVEMENTS

Showcase all the positions that you have been awarded for or can say which uplift your profile. You can mention here extra information that doesn’t fit into other categories, such as specific interests, computer knowledge, etc.

REFERENCE

When it comes to resume writing, you can mention “Reference available upon request.” Should ask for permission before listing someone as a reference. Should mention two reference including name, title, employer and contact number.
